EEEEEEEEEEEmotions!!

I honestly can not say whether emotions are the basis of all knowledge or whether knowledge is the basis of all emotions. I'll explain since that probably makes no sense to anyone but me:) okay so one must have the emotion to want to gain knowledge, yet how would we distinguish the emotion unless we had knowledge of it?
