Descartes? or Hume?

Reason or Perception?? which is more valuable to human knowledge. As I have unfortunately learned in theory of knowledge class, there is no possible way to justify that either reason or perception soley is the "gateway" to knowledge. It is interesting that, although Rene Descartes and David Hume would never admit the other was correct, their central ideas of reason and perception correalate perfectly. Using my own knoweldge from both my "reason" and "perception" it is very difficult to aquire knowledge from just one way of thinking. This is how they realate to each other. One may reason something and this is generally done in the brain, unless of course there is yet another thing in the world which I fail to understand or even be aware of, Wheras Perception can be aquired through the senses. either way we reason stuff and then percieve it with our senses OR we percieve something through our senses and then we reason what an object is or if whatever it is actually exists. So if someone were to argue that either reason or perception were more important, id tell them from my point of view that they are narrow minded, because there are infinite possibilities in which one is used before the other but ultimately the other is used afterwards, and very few cases in which either reason or perception are used individually.

The vaccination! dun dun daaaaa

so my thoughts/ ideas on the H1N1 vaccine. hmmm I feel like I do not have enough information to decide wheather the vaccination would be beneficial or harmful. As well I am often very skeptical and do not like to believe what others say regardless of their arguement. That is probably why I feel it is unnecessary for myself to get this vaccination. I feel as though I need to live and learn and not have someone telling me whether I should or should not do somethig, after all experience can be the best teacher. haha oh well I guess if I do not get the vaccine and end up with H1N1 and somehow manage to die, you all can have some of my belongings. haha don't get me wrong, I see nothing wrong with getting the vaccination but I believe everything is subject to ones interpretation of the situation and ultimately is their own personal choice. In the case of H1N1 I do not see it as a life or death situation and therefore, as my grandmother would say "don't worry your pretty little head about it"
