The vaccination! dun dun daaaaa
so my thoughts/ ideas on the H1N1 vaccine. hmmm I feel like I do not have enough information to decide wheather the vaccination would be beneficial or harmful. As well I am often very skeptical and do not like to believe what others say regardless of their arguement. That is probably why I feel it is unnecessary for myself to get this vaccination. I feel as though I need to live and learn and not have someone telling me whether I should or should not do somethig, after all experience can be the best teacher. haha oh well I guess if I do not get the vaccine and end up with H1N1 and somehow manage to die, you all can have some of my belongings. haha don't get me wrong, I see nothing wrong with getting the vaccination but I believe everything is subject to ones interpretation of the situation and ultimately is their own personal choice. In the case of H1N1 I do not see it as a life or death situation and therefore, as my grandmother would say "don't worry your pretty little head about it"

"... everything is subject to ones interpretation of the situation and ultimately is their own personal choice." But isn't knowledge universal - true in all places and at all times - regardless of situation and personal opinion?
ReplyDeleteWhat if the virus were more dangerous than just a regular flu - would it then be worth the risk of getting the vaccine? I guess that we all do a bit of a cost-benefit analysis when deciding things like this - is the benefit I get from a course of action worth the cost or risk that I am taking? When dealing with so many contradictory claims, it isn't easy to get the right information to decide. Isn't it interesting that even though we have so much information available to us online, we still have a hard time finding some good knowledge to help us make this kind of decision.
